Now I know all the figurative languages great poets, novelists and songwriters of the world have used in their works to illustrate the real feelings an actual human being could experience. They are not overstated, not at all.

I get it now how time stopped when someone left.

I get it now how those blind eyes kept on looking for someone who would never show up among the crowd.

I get it now how a kiss of someone had a unique taste, yet some drinks could taste like it.

I get it now how any sounds, even a nightingale’s, would not have touched one’s ears better than that someone’s voice calling her/his name.

I get it now how a person could subtract years from her/his life if it would make someone stay longer, even just a few minutes longer.

I get it all. I have learned them all already, so please please let me go. Let me learn something else.
